View compareCourse Information – Central Ontario Firearms Academy (COFA)
Welcome to Central Ontario Firearms Academy (COFA). We are a government-approved provider of the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) and the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC). Our courses are taught throughout the GTA and surrounding areas, with flexible weekday and weekend options to suit your schedule.
Most classes run over two days, combining 8–10 hours of in-class theory with 4–6 hours of hands-on practical instruction. Every course concludes with both a written examination and a practical firearms handling test, which must be passed in order to receive your results.
To enroll, simply use the “Choose Dates” tab on our website. You’ll be asked to provide your legal name, email, and phone number. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with your class details, location, and arrival instructions.
